Current Employee I am in the Inventory Acquisition B2B channel. Here's the good and the bad from my years at GFiber.
The Pros: Base comp and uncapped commission that far exceeds any similar role you'll find at competitors like AT&T, Comcast, Charter, Verizon, etc. Awesome Google benefits... at least until they separate in the near future.
The Cons: Big concerns amongst IC's recently surrounding the company letting go some of the notorious best performers for controversial reasons, while keeping incompetent and just bad leaders. It's a very corrupt hierarchy that promotes inner circles rather than merit. The sales operations make no sense (lead policy, SIP, partner incentives, territory, etc) because they were written by unqualified people with no sales experience - due to that inner circle thing I was talking about. It's created a culture of anarchy on the teams where reps are eating each other to survive. The great Google benefits are being taken away every quarter as the senior leadership prioritizes their misguided push to be an independent company. Lastly, there's a very high turnover.
Final word: I've made a lot of money here, but the good old days are gone. Many of us are looking to get out. Browse Other Reviews
