I’ve been with Fastenal for over a decade and they don’t believe in awarding the hardest working employees. They are treated and compensated the same as those who can care less about their job. A lot of frustration comes from this.

Fastenal is a good companies to jump into to learn sales and business. Not a whole of room for growth and promotions. I wish they offered more leadership and sales training. The culture varies since all branches are different. Not a whole lot of support on the sales side.

Poor.. The company has been changing their sales model the past 15 and are moving away from in house salesmen. They initially lied about the compensation and how much to realistically expect but the culture was somewhat still good and motivating.
