Reps are blamed for a bad product to market fit. And although the tech is great, the understanding of business and HR is abysmal. Instead, the culture is 5-10 hours of meetings per week to read your salesforce notes to leadership to look busy, because actual meaningful sales activity is few and far between based on how many reps there are. Making President's club is like winning the lottery in terms of your odds. You have to be talented, but then get lucky that you happen to have one of the few accounts buying that year.
