Excellent product. It works well! But, there is so much competition and alternatives in the market. Name recognition is a real challenge.

Enterprise Product, very hard to sell in the mid market and doesn't have or plan to compete in the Mid-Market space (defined as 500million revenue and below). Close to zero Inbound in the UK, DBs are very sticky products Internal promotion lacking Culture differs team - team and region

As far as I know, nobody on the SMB/MM team hit quota while I was there. If you're looking at any level of AE role at Couchbase make sure you're negotiating as high of a base as you can because your variable will likely be sparse.

CEO is inspirational and sets a superb culture. Snr LT are excellent. Solution is superb. Marketing strategy is failing the business horrificaly. No inbound traffic what so ever (leads, pricing requests, RFP's or downloads - it's utterly abysmal). High competition from AWS & MS Native solutions. Zero channel strategy.
