One of the biggest factors to consider is the turnover rate at Consilium. Over half of the user data stored in Avaya is from employees who have departed (whether through termination, which is very common, or through leaving of their own accord). It's a mixed bag - not all bad. If you're a weak-mid salesperson, thinking about it honestly - I'd call myself middle of the pack - you're unlikely to make it very long without being put on a PIP. Staffing sales was very different, because unlike SaaS where I came from, there's no severance once you fail a PIP. You're out on your behind. That being said, there are some very strong attributes for the company. Consilium U, their training program, is fantastic (if you learn best through videos/interactive learning checks like I do). The locums industry has begun to stagnate, although Consilium has not. The industry reported over 30% YOY growth from the beginning of COVID to 2022, but in 2023 that number dropped to 7%. Consilium is still doing relatively well in that regard, but proceed with caution. Job security (especially before being promoted to senior) is low.
