The SLS role is under-valued. Quotas are figments of someone's imagination and targets aren't set until mid-July. Lots of talented and smart ppl around you, but being a top sales organization is not a priority.

I joined one of the non-integrated Cognizant businesses. We had three different MDs in 9 months, zero sales strategy, and basically sold based on AWS funding to clients. The business took so long to be integrated into Cognizant, it became dysfunctional.

Good people work here. But new CEO, new CFO = uncertainty and missed milestones insofar as merit raises and questionable compensation practices.
