Very poor overall business strategy. They want experienced business people to be telemarketers. Very small chance for anyone to realistically make the money they were shown on offer letters. Morale stays low as you can always look at the leaderboard to realize less than 10% of the sales force is remotely close to their goal. With most not even being at 20% of their target.

Cogent was a horrible experience for me. The company has bad pay, horrible leadership, and no opportunity for growth. In 2021 when asked about diversity in leadership, the CEO stated that the talent pool wasn't available and that the company could not find female or diverse candidates with the requisite experience to be hired in leadership or engineering roles. ...Read More

Cutthroat competition among employees stifles collaboration and development. Best talent leaves. Middle management uninvolved.
