Which sales positions or departments should I target at Lumen, and what makes them appealing options for career growth and development?

The company is a joke.  Nothing you sell will be implemented completely destroying your chances of upselling or referrals.

Growth and development? Haha!! Do not work here at all costs. There’s no growth, and no development. I have no idea how this company is still hiring. Run away as fast as possible!!!!!

None, unless you like selling technology that will install 6 to 12 months late, then fight internally to credit the account for the amount that was billed before services were accepted, and then have to explain to your customer why everything you told them was not true. And after it is installed, you'll lose the customer to the Customer Success team so they can upsell it. They also just changed their comp plan to max out sellers at 200% per month. And finally, go through the multiple layoffs per year as Lumen continues to shrink their sales force because they want all transactions to be automated via web and AI.

I would heed the answers already given. I left the organization PROACTIVELY WITH NO JOB LINED UP. It was so bad that I bet on myself and was willing to rely on my savings for a better opportunity. I was a  Sr Acct Manager and was only at the company for 7 months before I quit. I saw the writing on the wall the first month I was there.
