Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Great environment and people, beautiful office and in a nice location, but that is it. Extremely saturated market, no base salary (draw only). Vast majority of employees in sales who have been here for 1 year haven’t seen a commission check yet and live off the 40k draw, which is a joke. A few guys (10% MAX) make 100k-200k and very few (3-5) make bank.
I will say though, this is a great stepping stone to other, better sales jobs. They’ll hire pretty much anyone, perfect for new grads and people who want to make their way into sales.
Also, day to day, as your pipeline grows and you have consistent customers/shippers, your primary job functions will consist of a lot more account management than sales.
There is opportunity to make good money here but you’re at the mercy of the freight market, which is terrible right now. If you land a shipper or two with a consistent high volume, it can change your life forever, but every single freight broker in the country is going after those.
