Ryan from RepVue here.  We recently added Business Units to the rating process.  Does using AEC, AutoCAD, MFG make sense for Autodesk? Are these units managed and hire separately and reps focus on products within their segment/unit only?

Updated. There are three verticals but four divisions for clarity:

AEC
D&M (Product Design & Manufacturing)
M&E (Media & Entertainment)
Emerging Technologies (Includes current incubating acquisitions)

To keep it broad while also putting them in the proper segments, in order of size from largest to smallest:

-	AEC (architectural, engineering and construction – the largest)
-	AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT
-	Manufacturing
-	Media and Entertainment
-	Other

AutoCAD fell under AEC. I am sure there are more units though, as they also had some for entertainment, I believe.

These units are different sales teams managed seperately. Although, I heard in Mid 2023 they started to merge more together.

There are segments and sales teams within each, with overlay reps. Territory, mid market, and named accounts.

And to answer your second question, yes.   They hire separately and are their own profit centers.   Revenue in 2023 was:

-	AEC   2,280M
-	AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT  1,390M
-	Manufacturing   980M
-	Media and Entertainment   290M
-	Other   70M
