In reviewing the news about the return to office mandate at Amazon broadly - has it been communicated that more senior sellers like AEs and AMs at AWS will also have this requirement for 5 days per week in the office?

I am a field AE and in my organization it is encouraged to go in once a week to your local office if you are not actively visiting customers. I don't suspect that to change but have not heard anything yet

Field sales teams have so far been unaffected by RTO.  There was no specification in recent comms as to what impact (if any) the recent 5 day RTO will have on field sales.

If it is a field sales role, you will not be affected by the RTO. My management has "suggested" to come in once a week beginning the new year if not visiting customers. All inside sales will be required to come in 5 times a week. Double check what type of role you are applying to.

Yes, currently they are requesting 3 days a week. The goal is by 1/1/25 to be fully returned to office.

I was a field seller prior to Covid and agree with lot of previous comments. RTO applies mostly to development teams however as a Field seller you are encouraged to go to office 1 or 2 days a week (depending on your manager and team). I personally benefited from that however dont see mandate of 5 days for AE's as they have customer meetings and other field activities limiting their time spent in office.
