How challenging is it to achieve sales targets as a new Account Executive at Acquia?

in 2022 - in US in Q1 and Q2 the quota achievement was below 40% and not much better in Q3 and Q4 why two or three big layoff rounds happened.  The portfolio is build by (wild) acquisitions, weak to no integrations and the CMS can't really compete with the known headless CMS which are in favor of most clients. 
Except some super territories, and these are rare, I would say rather impossible at the moment.

It is very challenging except only in SLED, Public Services and certain other Drupal centric large orgs account management.

It takes any rep, even the good ones, at least a year to figure things out and build pipeline (especially with the lengthy sales cycle). Phenomenal reps will miss their number in Y1, but then start blowing it out of the water in years 2, 3, 4, etc. Negotiate a ramp accordingly

Varies greatly between territories, quarter to quarter. It takes several quarters to build a consistent pipeline and even then attainment can fluctuate based on one or two deals slipping. That said, a new AE will receive a ramp which will make targets more achievable, and performing a diverse set of pipeline building activities (outbound, partnerships, upsell/cross-sell, field marketing, etc) helps to increase your sustainability of hitting targets.
