Work-Life Balance at RepVue
I refuse to work 90 hours/week, even though we’re right in the middle of launching RepVue. Is there a 0% chance that the company could fail because I won’t work 90 hours/week?
Maybe. But here’s why I don’t care.
I plan on building this company with people who want work-life harmony. Or balance, or whatever you want to call it.
For EVERYONE (me included, btw).
A lot of influencers, entrepreneurs, write, post, share, etc about “the grind”, “working all night and all weekend”, and completely ignoring every aspect of their life in favor of their job.
Can you only succeed with that approach?
Does that mean you care more about your business than me (no to this one btw)?
You should be pulling “all weekenders” with the people that really matter… This goes for everyone involved.
Will we take outside capital? Maybe, maybe not. Will there be some potential investors who may find this blog post and decide not to invest because of it?
I hope so.
