Rackspace has a very strong Enterprise presence and catalog, and as an SMB rep it can be difficult to scope the offerings appropriately within the SMB, Commercial, & SUP space. Like with most sales jobs, your manager decides how easy your life will be and I’ve been fortunate enough to have great managers during my tenure.

Meat grinder depending on the team and acc base, a lot of changes in leadership and support creates unhappy customers.

Since the company was split into two teams internally, there could be more differences between the two. Senior leadership in the Public Cloud business is far behind the Private Cloud teams, in terms of culture, vision, accountability and day to day behaviour. Make sure you know which side you might end up.
