My immediate boss was fantastic, and had we not been in a toxic work environment, we all would still be there, and we'd be successful. The problem is/was Rackspace is, should be, in turn-around mode, and they have the exact wrong leadership to affect that kind of change.

It had some structural problems characteristic of a lot of orgs that size, but clearly choose strong leadership, and the company culture is positive and healthy.

Since the company was split into two teams internally, there could be more differences between the two. Senior leadership in the Public Cloud business is far behind the Private Cloud teams, in terms of culture, vision, accountability and day to day behaviour. Make sure you know which side you might end up.
