Back to ReviewsFormer Employee I was part of the VMware to Broadcom acquisition and there was an endless list of jarring changes. I spent three years at VMWare before the acquisition where I earned $1.7M. On year four (year 1 of Broadcom) - they didn't give us quotas and instead just paid us OTE whether we booked a deal or not. They then transitioned to team quotas in year 2 of the acquisition. There's less cash in the amplifiers but they instead replaced it with RSUs that vest over 4 years. I was laid off before year 2 and lost $200k of unvested RSUs. Do not recco.
