After being taken over by a private equity firm, the company has gone downhill fast. They’ve slapped on outrageous price hikes that are driving customers away in droves, and the bleeding retention rate shows it. Commissions? Don’t count on getting paid accurately or on time — you’ll need to track every deal yourself just to make sure you’re not getting shorted. For anyone in sales, I’d steer clear of Accuris. It’s not worth the headache.

Working at Accuris was an okay experience. The company came from the historical market of S&P/IHS Markit, which had a strong customer base. When KKR purchased the division, they spun it off into what Accuris is today. There were many changes due to the private equity buyout. The CEO is very much a "yes man" to KKR.
