Market leading product with the backing of a large organization makes the sale relatively easy. Abbott operates with a lot of integrity which has created a good culture. My only issue during my tenure is the promotion structure. Essentially the only way to get promoted as a rep is to get in the top 10% and win P-club. Relative growth, economic conditions and differences in territory are not considered.

Speaking only for the Structural Heart Division- One common theme is that your career/fate is in the leadership's hands. Good luck if you ever want to transfer; even when ranking in the top 10, you'll be blocked and/or blacklisted.
