Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Incentive Comp and Target attainment have improved dramatically over the past 12 month, as the size of the sales team has halved due to layoffs and only the best sales reps have remained.
A negative effect of this process is accounts with serious buying power are in the books of a select few reps. Efforts to balance the playing field have not been successful. A compounding effect is the lack of inbound lead flow, and competing interests within the sales organization. I think this is a good place to learn full cycle sales and complex deals. Vention may have a bright future, but there are plenty of growing pains and politics within the workplace.
Several employees have been chewed up and spit out by management, and this is a practice that will continue until the company eventually is acquired or goes public. Sales people are afforded a good level of flexibility, and the tech stack is very good. Browse Other Reviews
