Overall, my experience at US Cellular was fantastic. Leadership was always supportive in making sure we could hit quota and provided everything we might need to do so. Quota was reasonable and attainable month to month, and training was plentiful.

Only a small % of reps hit their target. Sales are paid out on "activation" not on ink like a lot of other telecommunication roles. I have personally been successful, largely due to personal experience. It is very much ran like a B2C organization, even in the Public Sector/Business channels. That could be the wireless industry as a whole though.

My experience working as a phone salesman was a great experience, but the opportunity to move up isn't ideal Its good for someone to get their feet wet, but a place to build a successful career
