Overall they tout culture and "woke" concept but its not a sales culture or environment. This is a company built from developers with an engineer mindset and the company runs the same way. It is a lot draw the "owl" and figuring it out. There's no formal process in place to do things and ultimately alot of tribal knowledge is gone with the layoffs they've made. There's probably another one coming soon and they are figuring out where they can thin out.

Overall twilio is a good company, but is dealing with post COVID/free money reset. This acted as a large accelerant to the business, and now the company has doubled down on profitability. This has dramatically changed the culture and overall outlook of the GTM org.
