Very empathic people or people that deeply care, especially about customers, may find that the culture is simply to consumptive, driven to sell more, with very little focus on customer problems, concerns, or general well-being. This business model attitude can work in the short term, but is damaging to long term reputation, and it will catch up to it.
If you need a public example, look up "99 cent fee" - and how that was handled. Or go ask existing Toast customers. Therein lies a deep disconnect from management & leadership - at all levels - to the ground floor, starting with customers.
If you consider this company, there is a lot to like (high OTE, talented people, fun atmosphere, company pride), but be very discerning - it is absolutely not ideal for everyone. Diversity is value, except for diversity of thought. Browse Other Reviews
