How would you describe the sales culture at Sysdig?

Not good. A company run by engineers that treats sales reps as disposable.

Heavy regimen for NO REASON. Account plans for accounts you will never sell to. Lots of BS beyond just selling and winning biz. They have awful commercials and do not know how to win a deal. They waste plenty of time on useless projects

Extremely poor culture, leadership are clueless, all have come from Docker and it is something of an old boy's club. None of the AE's are even getting near 20% of target. A company to avoid at all costs.

Low performing (10% or less are at quota, and those are from upselling the existing customers). Clueless leadership. Very political, how well you play the office politics game has a significant impact on if you will last - not your sales skills or abilities.

So disappointing.  Company was WAY overvalued in 2021 and hired horrible sales leadership that is constantly in a ego/power struggle with others in sales.  Sales leadership's overall strategy is simply to duplicate what the top rep.  does.  There is a HUGE disconnect between sales and engineering.  In the last 3 years there has been so many amazing sales rep.'s that left due to the façade that they were presented with during the hiring process.  A company to avoid at all costs.

Low performing, highly political rest and vest sales and Sales engineering culture. Lots of political in-fighting, missed quotas and favortism.

Very technical company that is still trying to figure out product fit and commercial message to the market. 
Poor management with micro management over AEs activities and account plans. 
Inexperienced first time middle managers, not helping to scale the business.

Great AE’s with a lot of experience! A-Players, One of the best AE‘s I have ever worked with. Partly, unfortunately, poor management. Track and look too much at activities instead of results.
