It was not the best. The jobs you sold would be stalled because the site surveys wouldn't happen or take multiple trips. i had a number of bad installs that made my confidence in the product plummet

I worked for vivint before it was bought by sunrun. Bad place to start out in sales commission only. Very few new reps were able to pay the bills.

There’s a learning curve if you’re new to solar or your background is in B2C. Once you get rolling, shift your pipeline from company leads towards self-generated deals. Your work/life balance will be way better and the comp for referrals and aged opportunities is easily 2x.

Experience is essential as training opportunities are lacking. Base salary has been removed and replaced with a draw. Takes about two months to earn commission.
