Sungard AS was a great company at one point. Poor Management Teams in many areas lead to their demise. The company used to live on the bleeding edge of the tech curve. They stopped investing in the right solutions and failed to listen to sales, engineering, customer service and their customers. The company tried to turn it around but was unable to make it happen.

Enterprise New Logo sales was very difficult at Sungard, but there were some very talented people there and if you got into the right deals with strong drivers you could make decent money. Sadly, they are no longer around.
