The goals are unreasonable. Nobody here is hitting goal except for the reps that have been able to work deals for multiple years. Hire to fire culture, please look up the average tenure and turnover of people. There were layoffs at least once a month and most sales reps got laid off with less than a year at Smartly. I would stay away given the short sighted leadership with the PE partner leading Smartly unless absolutely desperate.

It is a great product and people on the front line work hard to see success however deal cycles can be long, pricing high and constant pressure to meet targets - otherwise, you could be cut... The business wants to pay back its money to the PE and limited to no career progression most people move to get a better role and get paid more.

VP of Sales is a revolving door there. Strategy changes constantly. Leadership does not listen to feedback from sales on the front lines on what is actually happening.
