Skydio had incredible technology and has some of the most brilliant minds. But the company has a track record of giving inexperienced people “a shot” at leadership which has led to reps missing their number and not having a TAM identified. Deals require reps to complete significant amounts of paperwork and approvals to sell many of Skydio’s products. Reps have also been selling underperforming hardware in a space where quality of data is king - thus hurting the product market fit and rep motivation.

Within the last year skydio has found product market fit with their new X10 aircraft and dock. Quotas are massive but reps are getting close to target and there is a winning culture. Suggest staying away from this place. Hard to say but it’s true. Severe challenges selling into enterprise. Lack of focus and going after new and unproven verticals. Executive team is flippant, cocky, and doesn’t seem to truly understand what to do with our tech. Disappointing experience.
