Back to ReviewsFormer Employee My experience at Skai was mixed. Although Skai's compensation package for SDRs is at or slightly above market average, the culture leaves much to be desired. I witnessed numerous HR violations firsthand, and opportunities for advancement beyond the SDR role are nonexistent. In the 12+ years that Skai has had an SDR org, only 3 total SDRs have been promoted out of the role. In the year-plus that I was at Skai, there were 3 company-wide re-orgs. While there are genuinely wonderful people at Skai, their efforts to improve the system are often stifled by leadership that is more concerned with the promise of stock payout from potential acquisition than sincerely bettering the organization. This wouldn't be as serious of a problem were Skai positioning itself well in the market, but it's not. Last year's core strategy pivot to omnichannel has not borne the kind of fruit leadership had hoped for, and it's led to multiple rounds of layoffs. I was fortunate to leave Skai on my own terms; until the company makes some major changes, I'd suggest staying as far away as possible. Browse Other Reviews
