Former Employee If I could give zero stars, I would. Most people at Sezzle started right out of college, largely due to Sezzle’s tight pipeline from UMN. That’s the only tech org they’ve known, and it shows. The job titles thrown around are wild—many wouldn’t hold up at other companies.
If your consider sales here take a closer look at the sales org: how people got their titles, what their actual day-to-day looks like, and compare that to other companies in the space. You’ll quickly realize everyone wears multiple hats. Your “Director” might actually be functioning as an ENT AE. The “VP” is doing Director-level work. Your SDR manager? Actually an AE who also happens to lead SDRs—and gets quota relief for it.
If you don’t have BNPL experience, proceed with caution. By day two, you’ll be outbounding and expected to build a pipeline with close lost deals and your own sourcing. The onboarding? A hour long HR call cramming everything into slide deck. It’s truly sink or swim—no in-between.
