Back to ReviewsFormer Employee Secureworks was a good place to learn about the cybersecurity market and to sell to big name customers. Unfortunately, the org does not invest at all into their outbound sales team (DGR/BDR) and does not provide an attainment path to promotion. Training on the product is lacking and sales training is non-existent. Many promotions during my tenure were based on nepotism or favors. Many high performing reps were left in their role due to management "perception" and giving promotions to friends. If you are looking to start your career is cybersecurity this is the place to go but you won't make much money and goals will change constantly. It will be a grind but being a part of the Dell family can be helpful for future opportunities if you choose to look elsewhere after a year or 2.
