Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee I'm currently still employed with Republic. Right off the bat the base compensation is less than ideal. People in my position generally land at 50k base. I'm closer to 100k. The commission structure is ok. Guardrails for pricing are not generally in line with the market. In my opinion the company doesn't view the sales role in the traditional sense. They're more concerned with activities than results (logging calls and meetings). They've started to knee cap my role in that relationships with customers are not prioritized. I'm 100% new sales, but when I land a large customer, (property management groups, etc), instead of letting me leverage the relationship it gets passed to an account manager that now owns all of the new business. That way they don't have to pay the reps commission anymore. It also shrinks the reps territory.
