I had a great sales manager and regional manager. I would have stayed if not for wanting to make a transition to another industry. I do recommend a sales role at Republic Services if you are wanting to get a start in sales. It's great B2B experience with growth opportunities.

Like most places, your experience depends on the business unit location and managment team, and territory. I have great sales leadership and sales team. Territory is dominated by one competitor but making progress.

Account managers were moved from owning a city/portion of state to being on a team that support a multi-state region. Took all the personality of it out and made it about talking to enough people per day and holding people to their annual rate increase.
