Presidio is regarded as one of the "more strategic" VARs, but that doesn't mean a whole ton, when the rest are selling hardware. With that said, Presidio is starting to "turn the page" on being more digital and tactical offering cloud and Software services.
Cons
Culture is pretty toxic. It's all about the sales numbers.
The company is about 5 years behind on the methodology of selling value vs. just selling "stuff".
Managers say they are motivated to sell cloud and more strategic services, yet the push from top down is to sell what you can to get to your number.
Advice to leadership
Create a true onboarding system for new employees.
Offer training and certifications. Pave the way for value selling by implementing training and better processes that bring specialists into customer conversations... right now resource management is a free-for-all, with the "good 'ole boy" mentality of who you know within the company that can spare time to help you.
