I truly did enjoy my experience at Muck Rack and would honestly recommend it to any of my connections on linkedin looking for an account executive role, but there was a lot of miscommunication over the first 7 months of my role. A lot of the other SMB reps felt mislead as to what we were told in our interview process and onboarding (we thought we were going to be MM reps, but were shoveled into a new SMB segment they built) and this SMB segment was very new and uncoordinated. Things were on the up when I departed and the communication was definitely better from leadership to our new team, but the beginning of my tenure still has a sour taste.
