Was merged into Motorola when they acquired Pelco. Local team in Australia was excellent and direct level managers were fantastic. Had migration issues with products but had been improving after a while. Senior management responsible for Video Security are very detached and reactive. Business restructured frequently and micro managing started creeping in. Overall though a fairly enjoyable role if you are in the right products division and the comp plan doesn’t change mid-way through some long term deals that you’re working on as they don’t have any support there if they change the goal posts and you lose out.

My overall experience was okay, unfortunately you will be more likely to be the only minority on a team, and over worked compared to your colleagues.

The culture, leadership and product is fantastic. the pay is not great and low for the industry but there are path to promotions if you do your time.
