The company's introduction to the Indianapolis market and its sales training program provided me with invaluable experiences that have set the stage for my career. I am grateful for these foundational skills, but I must note that the company’s model might not be sustainable as one's personal circumstances evolve, such as starting a family or purchasing a home.
The base salary at Medasource is quite low, aligning with other staffing firms that tend to recruit recent college graduates who are still developing marketable skills. The work requires significant effort and perseverance, and much of one's success is contingent upon the performance of others—a characteristic of this highly commoditized industry.
While I am thankful for the experience and it was an excellent place to start and grow, I believe it may not be a viable long-term option for those moving towards significant life milestones unless one is among the few who secure a major account for several years or transition into a leadership role seeking stability.
