Company hit major roadblocks, expanded salescount greatly at precisely the wrong time, then RIF all the new people (kept many dead salaries way too long), followed by a realization of new market dynamic (but too late), then spending 18 months to redesign the product, all while the competition was about 2-3 years ahead of us.

Incredibly toxic work environment. Hired a team of SDRs while the sales team was closing less than 10% of all sourced revenue. Poor product market fit, poor inbound lead flow, terrible leadership. Leadership team more interested in pointing fingers than solving problems.
