My overall experience was frustrating. It's a huge company and the wheels turn slow. The bureaucracy doesn't allow for much ground up innovation and requires compliance to constantly changing policies.

I worked for Johnson Controls predecessor, Simplex Grinnell. It was one of the worst companies I've ever been associated with because of their management.

Their training is top notch. It includes technical as well as sales training in which you are trained to succeed in the role

Johnson Controls is a good large company that does what large public companies do, and that’s focus on their revenue. My division is a lower revenue, higher margin division than the other 2 and we don’t get near as much support.
