Inbound lead flow was nonexistent. Product market fit was there in theory, but in practice was a very “hard sell”. Faculty are often overlooked and budget is allocated to other more “front facing” departments, so obtaining budget for a nice to have software solution was an uphill battle. Confusing rules of engagement around who owned which accounts led to unnecessary confusion and animosity amongst reps.

Good product, tough to find buyers. Market is constantly shrinking because no one is starting new large universities. Could do better on inbound deal flow, but the base pay is amazing and the incentive structure is very good, even if you do not hit quota. I like working here.
