At the core, the people are really great. A few bad actors and a protected network of college buddies. Completely disconnected leadership that force pencil whipping to meet metrics. Extremely difficult to add value based upon high rates when every branch manager nickels and dimes regional customers. If you’re great at the corporate game and really just want the title, Herc is probably a great choice. EOS is a standard that falls short of any deliverable.

Welcome to a management driven sales role of constant frustration. Pricing is not competitive. All comes down to how much you are willing to be a commodity to your customers and how much grit you have. No faithfulness in this industry but there are people making a good living. Fantastic company to work for. Great comp plan for specialty rental sales. Same comp plan for general rental, but harder to earn top commission with that product line.
