I was the #1 AE in Arizona and Top 5 AE company wide. The base salary was poor but I made it up in commission making over $220,000 annually. Top AE's would travel to a new city 1 week out of every month. I worked their before they were bought out. I can't speak to the commission potential post aquisition.

Leadership has never done your job and therefore micro-manages you. They constantly struggle to put together an effective strategy for sales.
