Former Employee3.0Aug 6, 2024Lack of training, no clear career path, no quota for the Sales Trainee role. Which is good but 0 guidance in what you need to do. You have to find out yourself.

Current Employee3.3Jun 16, 2025Great company culture with really friendly folks. Lots of flexibility with developing your business but often lacks structure on how to navigate org. Lots of tribal knowledge. Pay is based on strict hierarchies and not very clear comp plan for reps.

Former Employee3.4Jan 22, 2024Overall I had a good experience at Graybar. One of the challenges was they kept changing direction. My title changed from Business Development Manager to Account Manager (which was different from an Outside Sales Rep) and they didn't seem to quite know how to compensate Account Managers. And then I got laid off during the pandemic.
