Back to ReviewsFormer Employee Gembah has undergone so much change so rapidly, that it was difficult to answer some of these questions accurately. The compensation plan changed so drastically so many times during my tenure that I'm sure it's different now than it was when I left.
PROS: It's a fully remote role with a very laid back and casual/cool culture. You'll grow to love your teammates. The clientele is also uniquely fun to work with, they're all excited to speak with you about their product and value your input. Every conversation is interesting and different.
CONS: The executives are very much still figuring it out. They'll make major decisions (that affect people's livelihoods) very suddenly, then change it again a few weeks later. The direction of the company, the commission plan, the sales priorities are all over the place, which makes it difficult to feel stable in the role.
When I left, the commission plan was so difficult to understand that nobody knew how they were tracking and just blindly worked and hoped they would hit quota. Long story short, it's a bit messy.
