I worked part-time as an Inside Sales Rep. I was referred by an existing branch manager, but my experience was poor due to my branch manager's leadership style and behavior. Overall, Fastenal is a solid company.

Fastenal is a good companies to jump into to learn sales and business. Not a whole of room for growth and promotions. I wish they offered more leadership and sales training. The culture varies since all branches are different. Not a whole lot of support on the sales side.

Fastenal has a fantastic decentralized culture allowing you to spread your wings. With that, they do not pay very well on the base salary and it’s hard to get consistent raises.
