Compensation is competitive within the market, there are significant inbound opportunities and the product fit is the best in the industry. Products are priced at a premium compared to competition but there is differentiation to back it up. Most customers will agree.
The culture within the organization has unfortunately degraded over the last few years. While a push for DEI should bring positive cultural changes, Equinix has done so in a way where the corporate messaging and actions are not aligned. Full disclosure, I was terminated following a clearly baseless accusation. There was no concern for the truth, merely minimizing potential liability. They fought my ensuing unemployment claim, citing that I quit instead of being terminated. This delayed, for months, my income source during the height of the pandemic. They will not hesitate to cut you loose at a moment's notice.
