Middle Sales mgmt was an utter joke. Incompetent middle managers that succeeded as reps by having the good fortune of getting in early via connections and being in a channel-only company with strong books. Very few had any significant sales experience or any semblance of an impressive educational background to warrant the position. Just right place, right time. Which caught up with the company and undoubtedly led to the SW acquisition. Can't speak to that environment first-hand, but I haven't heard anything good.

Compensation and incentives are below industry standards. No 401k match which is not great at all. Equity is part of compensation but no clear guidance on whether this will be valuable or not.

Things have changed significantly since 2022, but I still do believe there's an opportunity for someone to learn here. What does current earning potential look like? That's a question I can't answer. I thoroughly enjoyed working with and learning from Managed Service Providers. So if you're okay with Kaseya's approach, I'd suggest taking an interview here.
