Comcast is a fantastic company to work for, but Comcast's Business field sales are entirely different and can sometimes be a nightmare. Sometimes, you fight to keep or get sales with the internal support teams. So many complex unspoken rules can only be communicated verbally or via email. Selling commodities can be a drag because you have the same thing as your competitors, but you offer a higher price and subpar service, which may be better. I’ve also noticed that there’s not much room for not meeting your unachievable quota. Also, walking around in the elements can be miserable, as can knocking on 40+ doors daily. The work-life balance is nonexistent here because they want you to grind; you will be micromanaged to attend a minimum of 2 meetings per day, door knock for 6 hours, do the sales support job because they don't want to support you, fight for 4 hours with their broken systems to process orders, especially mobile orders are the worst! Lastly, taking off work with three weeks to close $2700 is nearly impossible, and if you fail, they will let you go. Get on board or avoid this place!
