You handle a lot of the sales cycle from beginning to end, which is different from other companies that divide the sales process among employees. I’d come to Cogent to learn or for resume benefits. Very hard to sell at Cogent and grow within the company without being there 5+ years.

Current Employee3.4Sep 15, 2023Cogent has been good to me. But I've seen what it does to people who aren't ready for it and the vast vast majority aren't. Its a 0 support sales role but they will absolutely give you time to grow into it. If you have 5+ years to hit quota or are comfortable with the salary (which ranges massively from 50k-100k all depending on years of exp) its not a bad gig at all.
