Sales goals have been rather optimistic for the past couple of years. Combined with tinkering with iACV and an inability to accurately reflect that and pay on it has been challenging.

The products and solutions acquired by Cisco were best in class at the point of acquisitions. That said, the levels of bureaucracy, toxic management and misaligned leadership means those products fall out of favour, have less than ideal levels of post sales support and almost zero efficient development to keep them ahead of competition.
