My overall experience was positive. The industry is changing post Covid and Cisco is no different than a lot of tech companies out there. Some of the awesome Cisco culture that used to exist is now changing. Some of the second and third line managers are just worried about their next promotion versus actually helping the teams sell. But overall Cisco is a great place to work and they do take care of you, you just have to learn to navigate the large organization.

Mixed experience. Vision to become a security saas company is strong and Cisco is well regarded in the network space and is able to leverage those relationships. I’m concerned with the strategy of the security sales leadership as there were several reports the last 2 years and many good sales people were let go as a result or choose to leave for competitors.

Great company. Great people. Commercialization structure is unorganized. Cisco is trying to be a software company when they have traditionally been a hardware company. Lots of growing pains with this.
